I worked at Flackable as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are so many, I don't know where to start.

    - I only got to work with the team for 3 months, but I've learned more than school or most likely any other internship will ever teach me.

    - You do real work for clients and get to see the whole process of creating a campaign. I wasn't just doing tedious work or sitting bored at my desk, I was constantly working on projects that improved my skills.

    - The team is amazing. We all collaborated together in an environment where no one felt afraid to ask questions and everyone was so grateful for your help. I never felt under appreciated and was treated like a colleague.

    - You don't do one type of work over and over again. I was writing, editing, designing, leading projects and more. I built an insane portfolio that will put me ahead of my peers.

    - The position was remote which was a huge positive for me. I was allowed to work from home (and get paid) so I could see my friends and family. Working from wherever I wanted to helped when I was in the middle of traveling or out of the area for the day.

    - Did I mentioned that you get paid?

    - The faculty is really unique. The story behind Brian founding Flackable is inspirational to aspiring professionals, and the rest of the faculty come from all different places in the industry. Working with them has given me a lot of prospective on how the PR industry works.

    - You work with financial services clients, which may seem like a con but I loved it. It forced me to learn different topics and terminology. Being completely out of my comfort zone taught me to adapt to whatever a client may need, regardless of their trade.

    - I can't praise this company enough, my review will never do them enough justice. If you want to drastically improve and love doing it, work with Flackable.

    Cons

I don't have a legitimate con. My only warning is that you need to be motivated and self-sufficient to work here. Working from home, as lovely as it is, can be a challenge since it's so easy to get distracted.

    Advice to Management

Keep being as personal and collaborative as you are. Those values are how I would characterize the office culture and something that is unique to the company because of its size and faculty.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Flackable.

I spoke with the CEO twice on the phone. During the first call, he explained the position. On the second call, he told me about the benefits of the job and more about the company and its clients.
