    Positive Outlook

I worked at Flagstaff Medical Center part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This was the very best job I ever had. The leadership here is phenomenal, and an overall excellent workplace. A great entry level emergency services job, especially into the medical field.

    Cons

Pay is low for the work and sacrifice required, but is fairly standard across the country for EMTs

    Advice to Management

    Management is great

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Flagstaff Medical Center.

    Interview

There was initial interview with supervisor that was immediately followed by staff interview, made up of charge nurses, educator's, and staff nurses. Who all asked you questions off a 3 page printed sheet.. it was the most intense interview I've go through.

    Interview Questions

    • They were all "What would you do in this scenario" type questions. Kind of strange. Not the usual interview questions. Almost like a psych eval   Answer Question

    Negotiation

It was fine, was offered contract for 2 years with bonus. They really should offer more money since cost of living in Flagstaff is so high.
