The industry-leading program offers the opportunity for individuals to combine their communication talents with their passion for diversity and inclusion. The paid fellowships are six- to 12-months in length and offer benefits, professional development opportunities and a mentor program. Fellows contribute to client projects while rotating among account teams, gaining practical experience in the field of integrated communications from some of the industry's best counselors. The China Masters Exchange program was created with the focus of helping Chinese companies establish their brands in the U.S. and other regions. The program provides practical training from all facets of the communications field, while also leveraging a candidates’ bicultural understanding of the U.S. and China markets.
China Masters participants have the opportunity to counsel Chinese companies on expanding abroad, while gaining firsthand insights and experience of the agency’s global operations. Upon successful completion of up to one year of employment in the U.S. or EMEA, participants can be transferred to FleishmanHillard office in China or in another region of our network. Culture, diversity of clients, dynamic teams, strong leadership, change-making -- inspirational general manager. There are many opportunities to shine and lead at the senior level. From the interns to the senior managers, everyone is expected to perform at their best, and it shows in the client relationships and continuing success.
There are not many cons, this company is running on the proper course as one of the best in the world.
One con, meetings are a part of life, and if there are going to be a surplus of meetings, they need to be run efficiently. Going off topic, running over for an hour, and other annoyances involved in a meeting, do not make the meeting - but can make people dread meetings. The solution, be more aware of other people's time and try to stay on topic.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FleishmanHillard (Detroit, MI) in March 2015.
Phone interview with recruiter in St. Louis, in person interview in Detroit. Met with executives first then immediate supervisor. They focus more on personality and whether or not someone will fit in, rather than skills and experience. It's a young group and the Detroit offices focuses solely on social media for Chevy.
