    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Flexport.


    Here's how it went for me:

    1) 15 minute recruiter phone screen, pretty simple.

    2) 30 min hiring manager phone screen with a case analysis.

    3) 10+ hour open-ended take-home technical data analysis assignment, literally a "here's a heap of uncleaned data, tell us what you find" sort of deal.

    4) 3 hour "final round" panel interview, including a 45-minute presentation on my findings from the previous assignment.

    5) Waited two weeks with no real updates, before suddenly being informed that I'm being considered for a *different* data analyst role on a *different* team than previously discussed.

    6) Do another hour-long interview, for a role for which I've been provided no job description (despite asking for one) and didn't even really apply for.

    7) FINALLY get told that I'm not getting the offer because I "don't have the right kind of experience," which for some reason isn't something they could've figured out two freaking months ago, and there's no other roles open at my level on the horizon.

    What a SHAM. Do NOT bother with these clowns, they do NOT respect the candidates they're interviewing, and I doubt that'll be any different for anybody who actually gets hired on.
