There is plenty of training available and the engineering staff, for the most part, is very easy to work with.

Management does not always mean what they say. Speed of execution is more important than quality to some management.

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at FlipChip International (Phoenix, AZ) in April 2015.

Phone interview + an on-site interview. Phone interview asked about personal stuff like curriculum, interest, subjects. On site was an company tour and some technical stuff. the whole process took about 20 days. and the internship offer was sent to me along with some confidentiality documents. The internship started on June which went very well too
