I worked at FlipChip International full-time

    Pros

Most people below management are nice to work with.

    Cons

No raises, even if you learn more.
    Massive lay offs.
    People get demoted with pay-cuts.
    High turn over rate.

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep your experienced personal, start giving raises for the cross-trained. Also, a common complaint which I hear from the DSD personal is that there are no chances of moving up in the company, and you have to be from the bump side or friends with the management if you are from the company to grow within the company.

    Interview

Phone interview + an on-site interview. Phone interview asked about personal stuff like curriculum, interest, subjects. On site was an company tour and some technical stuff. the whole process took about 20 days. and the internship offer was sent to me along with some confidentiality documents.
