I have been working at Flow International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company is positioned for incredible growth. New leadership is focused on creating a dynamic company within the SHAPE Technologies group ensuring leadership within the waterjet manufacturing arena!

    Cons

There are some personalities here that are not accepting of change or future vision. The rumor mill is inaccurate and very strong. Better communication from leadership will help.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Flow International.

    Interview

I was first contacted by one outside recruiter via email. Then a second recruiter (different company) contacted me via phone. The call with the company was not scheduled, I guess they think everyone's just waiting to speak to them. Two people were on the call with me, only one asked questions. I got the impression they were "interviewing" me for a position I was not interested in. I was unable to ask any questions, a huge red flag. The "interview" end abruptly when the VP declared she had another meeting. I never heard back from them.

A colleague I referred for another position was pressured to start immediately. They move very fast, uncomfortably so. I wonder what is being hidden.
