    I worked at Fogo de Chão Churrascaria (Holding) LLP full-time (More than 5 years)


    Good structure and availability of knowledge for all employees. Most professional restaurant setting in the industry. Ability to rise through the ranks through hard work, discipline, and reliability. Top 10% pay in the industry for all jobs; dishwashers, prep chefs, desserts chefs, salad bar attendants, bussers, hosts/hostesses, cashiers, office assistants, gaucho chefs, servers, assistant managers, customer service managers, and General Managers. Fast paced, high energy, upscale, and busy restaurant with appreciative clientele.


    Not a con for myself, but for many people looking to work part-time in a restaurant and take it easy- not the place to be. This is a professional work environment requiring steady hours, competence, and poise. Must work all holidays as well. Never bothered me but many people don't like to work on Thanksgiving, Father's Day, Mother's Day, etc.

    Advice to Management

    Give those that deserve it some recognition. This goes for some managers, others give credit where it's due. Once part of the management team, my advice to employees would be to stop complaining about everything. If you don't like the job, leave. If there is something really bothering you, sit down with a manager and talk about it.

    They only hire the best of the best. You will be interviewed by the CEO, who is a former lawyer, so be very prepared to discuss your experience and abilities in great detail. Do not flinch, do not hedge your answers. Be specific and definitive. Most of all be honest and forthright. The review and hiring process takes about 3 weeks.
