I have been working at FormSwift full-time (More than a year)
As my first job out of college, I couldn't ask for more in terms of growth. I was able to grow from a product marketing/conversion optimization role to a product management role in a year. As someone who didn't come from an engineering background in college, having the company support me to take a front-end dev class helped me grow into this role. There's a lot of ownership and it always feels like you're personally adding to the bottom line. The culture is one which pushes you to learn, grow, and excel. The management encourages you to fail fast to learn from mistakes. Also great work-life balance and camaraderie among co-workers! We're growing fast - in my two years - we've gone from 8 to 17!
This is not necessarily a con - but you definitely need to be a gritty person to excel at a small, face-paced company. There's help if you need it from management and your coworkers, but you need to be the type of person who knows how to google before you ask people for an answer every time.
Advice to Management
Keep on doing what you're doing - it really helps to always be updated on the big company objectives to align our personal efforts with the company goals. It's comforting to know that the employees are valued and that you're trying to think of ways to make our work life even better.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FormSwift (Philadelphia, PA) in January 2017.
initial assessment via creating an example email to send for confirming a candidate's onsite interview. then a google hangouts interview with the lead recruiter. didnt make it past that, but i heard it would be another google hangsouts, and then a google hangouts with one of the co-founders followed by an onsite. from what ive read up on formswift, I still believe it's a great place to work at and the chat with the lead recruiter only further confirmed that. she also seemed like a really cool potential person to work with. a little ashamed that I didnt move past the first google hangouts with her, but I look forward to applying again. my only con about their interview process would be that I had to constantly ask her for follow ups.
