I have been working at Fortimize full-time (Less than a year)
Great people from top to bottom, very flexible working arrangements from remote to full time in the office, and a strong growing leadership team.
Very fast paced. After onboarding, right on to project work. Not really a "con" per se, just be prepared to start when you start!
Advice to Management
Don't lose what's great about the company as you continue to grow.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fortimize (New York, NY) in November 2017.
Interviewed with SA manager and director.
If you get past that then they have you scope and build out a Dev org for a potential client. This can take anywhere from 4-16 hours as you are building a solution with a good list of requirements.
The interview process went fine. If you are experienced it isn't too difficult.
The big thing here that made this negative is the compensation conversation. When asked what comp range I was in I gave a number that seemed to offend them. The amount was in the realm of multi year experienced architects. There was no follow up after the interview.
After spending 20 hours on an interview the least a company can do is thank you for your time and inform you of their decision one way or the other.
