I have been working at Foster's Freeze part-time (Less than a year)
Cool coworkers, very fun people to work around, love the customers..most of the time lol
TERRIBLE hours, you'll get like 12 hours a week unless you're a supervisor or a manager, in which case you work as much as you want to. Some customers are a little grumpy for no good reason, as to be expected in a job dealing with customer service. Company is slowly dying and isn't really a major corporate chain, so you definitely don't be getting good hours or pay, no room to move up in the company.
Advice to Management
Expand to different locations, try not to have the stores owned by so many different people and try to give more opportunities for advancement.
I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Foster's Freeze (Buena Park, CA) in March 2014.
After the phone call, I got the address of the place and had meeting on that day. I worked a week later of the meeting. Does not ask specific, but asked about the available day and english fluency. But I think he wanted female food server so didn't really ask me the details.
