Lots of autonomy given here as long as you were on track for results. Plenty of resources available when necessary.
Goals were often a moving target, some strained relationships with publishers and employees brought a lot of excess baggage to every meeting or discussion.
Advice to Management
Generally keep doing what you're doing regarding, but take measures to focus more on the quality rather than quantity (and profit margins)
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Foundation 9 Entertainment (Framingham, MA) in May 2009.
The interview was quite relaxed. It consisted several questions about my school work, my experiences and skills. The entire interview lasts about 30 minutes and there were no test of any kind. The interviewer expects that you know a little bit about the company, have a few things to show off (like interesting projects, games), have a game idea that you want to implement, portfolio is a plus.
