I worked at Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union full-time (More than 5 years)
Friendly environment. Decent sales incentives. Great PTO policy that allows ample time off for a positive work/life balance. Good computer software for accounts and loan openings. Overall I was pleased with my time at FMFCU.
Slow on promoting employees and very willing to have employees work above their pay grade. Micro managing, ineffective leadership with certain upper management. Favoritism is common and blatant.
Advice to Management
Pay people what they're worth and promote when they're working above their current title.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union (Bozeman, MT) in June 2015.
Applications are submitted to an outside HR company that handles all of FMBs hiring and HR needs. They are pretty quick to respond, however the process is, by their own admission, lengthy. Typical questions and description of the job and benefits right off the bat. You must complete a teller test and cannot use a Mac to do so, which was frustrating for me but I was able to find a different computer to submit this portion. Simple test looking at the basics of what you know in relation to being a teller. Once that is submitted it took about a week, all references were called and then an interview with the branch manager is set up.
