I worked at Fred Loya Insurance Agency, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible in hours (works with school schedules, the job is easy(depending on your department), lunch hours provided(if requested), employee benefits(full-time only), holiday's off(everyone) w/ pay(full-time only).

    Cons

Family owned business, company only cares about the benefits for the management team not for the employees, managers are hypocrites, does not offer tuition reimbursement for students, no opportunity to grow within the company, always threatening to lose your bonus, expect to get sick because the air conditioning remains ON all year long.

    Advice to Management

Empathize with the employees more, we have lives too.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fred Loya Insurance Agency, Inc. (San Diego, CA) in September 2016.

    Interview

I got called to come in for an interview. They had me fill out a paper application. The manager was nice but was pretty upfront about the job. They want you to work 6 days a week, spin signs, and travel all over the city to do this job. It just didn't seem like it was worth it.
