Freedom was founded in 2002 by Stanford Business School graduates Andrew Housser and Brad Stroh. We help people improve their financial well being through multiple groups, including: Bills.com, Freedom Debt Relief, ConsolidationPlus, FreedomPlus and our investment arm. This might mean helping consumers get out of debt for the least possible personal cost or it may be conducting financial consultations, educating Americans on their options and recommending the appropriate solutions for their personal needs. There are several plans available to Freedom employees, to provide the flexibility for you to choose the option that is right for you. Depending on location, employees can select from three health providers – Aetna, Banner or Kaiser. Aetna offerings include an HMO, POS and a HDHP. In addition, you may participate in the Flexible Spending and Dependent Care programs that provide pre-tax savings on benefit contributions.
Our generous vision plan annually provides for exams, frames, lenses or contacts. You can choose vision coverage under the Vision Service Plan (VSP) or use the provider of your choice. VSP has the most extensive network of optometrists and vision care specialists in the country.
Our PPO dental plan offer sound traditional coverage. Dental coverage is available through Aetna and has both in-network & out-of-network coverage options.
Our annual Freedom "Employee Satisfaction Survey" is a part of our culture, deeply ingrained to solicit feedback and then take actions on what our teammates need, in order to constantly improve our culture. A few years ago many people asked for a long-term retirement plan, in the form of a 401(k) - and we listened! We now offer a Mass Mutual administered 401(k) plan, with company match.
Our coverage provides employees 1X their annual base salary, at no cost to the employee, when they participate in the group medical plan. You can also buy up for additional levels of coverage by selecting options under our "Voluntary/Supplemental Benefits" program.

Freedom Financial is one of the best company's that I have worked for in my life. They take care of their employees and ensure that that your needs are fulfilled. The benefits are great, the people are AWESOME, we have a catered lunch just about every month and of course PTO, including time off on your birthday as well. Freedom has been voted "Best Place to Work" multiple times with the most recent coming in #1 in Phoenix, AZ. Another great thing about Freedom is the opportunity you have to advance within the company. Now to a more personal note, Freedom has a program called the Freedom Fund which they use to assist employees that are going through life struggles. I myself was having a hard time due to my kids being in the direct path of Hurricane Maria. I reached out to the Freedom Fund and they helped me get my kids out of the devastation that Maria had left behind. This shows how Freedom Financial not only cares about there employees but there employees families as well. If it wasn't for there kind gesture I don't know where I would be today. Overall, this company has a lot to offer and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to continue there professional career.
As the company continues to grow incredibly quick, at times it is hard to keep up with all the changes that happen.
Advice to Management

I applied online. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at Freedom Financial Network (Tempe, AZ) in October 2017.
I applied on Indeed and received a response from the recruiter the next day. After a detailed phone interview, two face to face interviews followed. I met the senior managers and directors of the departments I would interact with and work for. They made me feel comfortable and asked hard questions as well as some easy questions- what are your hobbies, etc. The recruiter was very quick to email and text me back. The Director gave me a call an hour or two after I signed the offer letter, to welcome me to the team and discuss the details. Everyone was so personable and sincere! The whole process took 6 weeks from application to start date.
