I worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Generally sharp, supportive, and kind partners that are the type of people you want to do good work for and who reward initiative and hard work. Interesting global practice and high caliber clients. Great benefits. Amazing staff and paralegals.

    Cons

Like all firms, long hours. But there is a great telecommuting policy in place and face time pressure isn't high.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (New York, NY) in June 2014.

    Interview

I was told that there were three rounds. I only went to the first one. I met with three different people, none of them were attorneys. I thought it went really well but I did not get called back for a second round.
