I worked at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The office is very close knit and friendly. The program officers make a concerted effort to involve interns meaningfully in projects. It's a German speaking office, which provides a fantastic chance to apply language skills in a professional setting.

    Cons

The internship was unpaid. Depending on what was going on in a given week, the work load could go anywhere from highly involve in supporting a project to simple clerical busy work.
