I worked at Fujitsu full-time (More than 3 years)
A lot of flexibility on how to work as long as you get the job done. Management really trusted their employees with very little micromanagement. Really a great group of people and culture. I honestly wouldn’t mind to go back and work there.
Limited movement up since all management was on a visa rotation from Japan. Leader would be from Japan and would stay for around 3 years and then the next person from Japan would replace him; no option to apply.
Advice to Management
Be a little more open to change in the fast world of technology.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fujitsu (Dallas, TX) in October 2017.
First interview is mostly behavioral. Then they give you a coding challenge on a piece of paper.
Second round interview is three interviews plus a lunch chat plus an executive team chat.
Each interviewer will be different. My first interviewer made it a point to not ask me hard questions. He didn't really ask me any technical questions. We simply went in depth with my technical projects on my resume. The other interviewers asked more technical questions but none of them asked a leetcode type question.
