I have been working at Funnel Science full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Funnel Science creates the perfect work/life balance, offers full benefits, and is completely accepting of life’s unexpected challenges and opportunities. With the bottom line being sales and customer satisfaction, you won’t endure rigid working hours, as the completion of work takes higher priority than the moments your butt is in the seat so to speak. Constant learning, growing, and excelling are everyday events, all you have to do is seek them out! This is the first job where I drive in to work excited and leave challenged, having the chance to do great work for wonderful people every day.

    Cons

The CEO brings his dogs to work often so if you can’t handle about 30 dog snuggle breaks a day, you’ll probably be miserable here. You cannot thrive here if you need your hand held on each and every task and if you are shy about direct and immediate correction.

    Advice to Management

You’ve created a very open, honest, and warm environment where I know I can continue to grow into my very best self. You provide endless opportunities to enhance my craft and become more of an asset, reward that without being pursued, and give constant direction and affirmations, setting a new bar for any future employer I may have. Thank you! If Alex could learn the art of zen and breathing through client conflict, and give Google a break now and then, Funnel Science would be the best place on earth to work. I don’t want him to give himself a premature heart attack;)

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Funnel Science in February 2017.

    Interview

There are no HR people, so process is very informal and uninviting. I interviewed with someone I did not know I was interviewing with. He did not introduce himself, and did not seem to be advanced in interviewing - more like a fill in for the owner.

    Interview Questions

    • Questions I was asked were not overly relevant to the job listing, and visiting the physical office was both unimpressive and disappointing... You need a key to go to the bathroom and the entire office is the size of my home kitchen.   1 Answer
