I have been working at FusionOps full-time (More than a year)
Great product, lots of ideas, supportive management, fun working with the developers who are in Romania. Free food is always nice and people usually are reasonable in their expectations.
Lack of direction, frequent layoffs and constant ticking and tacking in terms of direction. Again, not too unique for a startup. Been on a plateau for awhile, while.
Advice to Management
Communicate more often to more people. Figure out if the problem is in the message, the product, the strategy, the execution or the salesforce.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FusionOps in March 2017.
I've applied for Sr software engineering role in linkedin, got a call from recruiter. A week later , I was invited for onsite interview. It was 2hrs technical interview with 2 engineers. I did my interview really well and was hoping to receive an offer. 3 days later, recruiter called me and said I was over qualified for that role because I am making way more than what they were willing to offer and got rejected. I was totally disappointed.
My candidate experience with this company was not great. I guess that they have a tight budget and not willing to pay more for the right candidate.
