Mission: Be the essential source for B2B decisions
G2 Crowd is the world’s leading business software and services review platform, leveraging its 200,000+ user reviews read by nearly 900,000 buyers each month to help them make better purchasing decisions. By bringing the collective power of trusted peers to the forefront, business buyers now have transparency when evaluating B2B software technologies and services.
The current approach to buying business technology is broken. Buyers spend too much time sifting through spin, reading outdated analyst reports, and sitting through endless meetings. After all this, buyers still lack confidence in their choice of technology and most projects fail to meet their expectations. By capturing collective wisdom, G2 Crowd will make purchasing business technology as easy as buying consumer products.
At our core, G2 Crowd strives to build a meaningful business that brings joy to the lives of our users and our team. People join G2 Crowd if they enjoy being challenged, like friendly competition, and can bring fun to every task. We take care of our employees by providing fair compensation, recognizing their brilliant contributions, and letting them find meaning in the mission of the company. As a team, we share a commitment to each other and the company that drives us relentlessly forward.

I have been working at G2 Crowd full-time (More than 3 years)
Tons of learning opportunities and potential for advancement. Mostly great people. Most seem to care about their employees.
Fast growing companies can be very stressful. Bringing in new leaders can be abrasive and when your growing so fast, it's easy to miss. They also don't always pay as much as other companies, but I didn't take the job for the money.
Advice to Management
Keep the culture as you grow. People joined because they liked it or believed in it. If that changes, many will leave. Not all the new leaders are respectful or believe the same values that made me take the job. This makes it much harder. Still a good company, just some bad eggs.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at G2 Crowd (San Francisco, CA) in December 2016.
Phone screen with the recruiter, then took the personality assessment and aptitude test, much like the SAT. After that I had meetings with the VP of Sales, Director of Sales, and Account Executives. The following week I came in for a final interview and mock presentation. I received an offer the same day and accepted. I also had the chance to speak with the CEO about his vision for the company before singing the offer.
