Mission: Helping millions of businesses make better buying decisions every month.

G2 – Why Work With Us?

Why is it easier to get unbiased information about a $100 hotel room than a $100,000 piece of software?

In 2012, five entrepreneurs asked themselves this question. The next day, they founded G2. Today, more than 3.5 million people visit to read and write authentic reviews about thousands of software products and professional services. To date, G2 has published over 1 million authentic reviews from real users. Reviews that are helping millions of businesses make better buying decisions about the software that will help them reach their potential.

G2 is building a culture that reflects our core values of PEAK:
Performance, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Authenticity and Kindness.

We have invested in helping our employees live at the PEAK through employee-led inclusion and diversity  programs, competitive compensation and the expansion of G2 Gives, our nonprofit initiative.

Inclusion and Diversity aren’t just talk.
We’re serious about fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace for employees, users and customers. G2 is evolving our employee resource groups into an initiative called G2Together, to help educate the entire G2 team about how we can be more inclusive of all identities. This are led by members throughout the organization, and supported by company leaders, including our CEO and President.

At G2, we work around a core set of values. We call them our PEAK values:

“P” is for Performance

Because that’s where it all starts. When you work at G2, you’re working with top talent.

“E” is for Entrepreneurial Spirit

Because as we grow, we also work to learn and innovate each day.

“A” is for Authenticity

Because every G2 review is 100% real — and so is the way we communicate.

“K” is for Kindness

Because we believe doing great work starts with compassion and heart.

G2 is growing, fast.

We’re hiring for positions across every team in the company.

If you’re ready, so are we.

This "rocketship" is on the fast-track to success. Seriously, everyone here is young, smart, savvy, and extremely driven to scale this company. I've never worked at a place where everyone has gotten behind a mission and worked in-sync toward company-wide goals. Love this place.

G2 is scaling very quickly, and you'll see a lot of new faces in the office. This adds to the mix of the company culture, which is overall great, but there are sometimes those awkward moments.

    Advice to Management

Continue to empower and have trust in your employees.

    I applied online. I interviewed at G2.

Beware of applying to this company. They automatically send you an hour long test and if you don't fit their prescribed "profile" you automatically get a canned rejection the day later.

So about this test: there are 3 sections (SAT problem solving, reflexes / memory, and personality). I could kind of understand the personality test, but that is what interviews are for. Like, what do you hope to gain from a recruitment standpoint by testing my reflexes?
