I have been working at GAINSCO full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I started as a level 2 claims adjuster in June of this year. From the moment I started, I felt a sense of unity among upper management and among coworkers in multiple departments within the company. I got to know the employees, procedures and history of Gainsco and the best part about working for this company is the passion to succeed and be the best non-standard insurance company available to consumers. Management is friendly, knowledgeable and highly respectful of their employees and take great pride in making sure everyone knows how important they are when it comes to the company's successes. I have been employed with multiple companies throughout my career and Gainsco is by far the best company I have had the opportunity to work for. I see a bright future ahead of me and I look forward to my long-term career with Gainsco.

    Cons

I honestly have nothing negative to report. The morale is great, co-workers are fun to work with, management is amazing, there is excellent opportunity for growth, and the benefits are some of the best available in this type of industry.

The process took a week. I interviewed at GAINSCO.

    Interview

The recruiter was very upfront and prompt which is something I appreciate. We spoke briefly over the phone and scheduled an in person interview. It was on of the best interviews I've ever experienced. The ladies were very informative. We laughed and had a great time but they are very sharp and definitely about business. I almost didn't want to leave. The atmosphere is very laid-back, everyone is smiling yet working hard. This is the ideal work environment. They called a few hours after leaving the interview with an offer. Ofcourse, I accepted.
