I have been working at GCA full-time

    Pros

-Fantastic culture. Everybody is nice, it's easy to be staffed on a deal you'd like to work on, and as an analyst, you're not trapped into an industry that you don't like.
-Pretty good deal flow. The company has grown a lot (expanding into a new office in NY), so it's gotten better over the past few years.

    Cons

-The company should work on gender diversity.
-There's probably much more room for the company to take advantage of potential cross-border synergies
-The hours are pretty bad, but that's banking.

    Advice to Management

I don't think I have immediate advice to management, for the time being. Over the long term, continue to focus on work/life balance and gender diversity.

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at GCA.

    Interview

Was fairly quick. Applied via OCR, had a 1st round, etc. Interview went well, had it with 2 people in the San Fransisco office. They asked me behavioral questions tailored to my resume.
