I worked at GCA Services full-time (More than 3 years)
Company went through serious restructuring during my time there, and what started off as a great place to work, changed quite quickly as people who were unfamiliar with the cleaning industry took charge and did not understand the logistics involved to ensure operational efficiency. Almost everyone within our region was let go, including managers that were really integral to their success. My understanding is that they lost most, if not all of their business thereafter.
Benefits were incredibly expensive and salary was not up to par.
Advice to Management
Your field managers are what ensure your accounts are successful. Appreciate them monetarily and support them with the resources they need -- business will flourish.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at GCA Services (Stillwater, OK).
You fill out an application, they submit a background check, you take a drug test that day and within 3 days you knoe if you got the job. The interview was very thorough and detailed.
