GE Volunteers were on the road again, this time in the Senior Centrum. Our BBQ Masters have braved the wind and prepared some Nürnbergern sausages, cheese BBQ and Tartars. It tasted delicious each and it was also a nice change for the residents. Our GE team had a lot of fun again. We are all looking forward to the next event in the Senior Centrum: the annual GE Christmas singing! #GESalzbergen #wind #renewablenergy #germany #GEVolunteers
Just as it has been tradition through the past years, in early September the 9th Duck Race in Rheine has occurred yet again. The GE Wind Energy employers have done a great job contributing to the success of the event. We would like to thank all volunteers! #GESalzbergen #wind #renewablenergy #germany #GEVolunteers

Advice to Management
Focus on operations excellence and to become leaner.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE Renewable Energy.
I received a phone call, which happened to be an on the spot phone interview. After our chat, HR scheduled an on-site interview. There was confusion with who was supposed to take me to the conference room but eventually, someone came to get me and I started the interview process with 2 team members. After a while, 2 other team members took their place to interview me and finally the hiring manager finished up. The questions were a mix of my background, a bit of my knowledge on the technical, and mostly behavioral.
