Client Services + Consulting

In our client services + consulting department, you’d work directly with some of the world’s biggest brands. From entry level to seasoned vets, client teams manage day-to-day relationships, coordinate complex marketing programs, and travel regularly to oversee the fruits of their labor.

At GMR, life in client services + consulting is fast-paced, exciting, and full of growth opportunities. 

Marketing Trainee Program

Learn the ropes of experiential marketing from our experts! In this 6 months of full-time, fast-tracked experience, you’ll be responsible for assisting the team with coordinating marketing programs, events and field operations, recapping events and developing future action plans, and managing field staff to ensure flawless execution… just to name a few. 


Creative

Digital Solutions

Our Digital Solutions/IT team is responsible for the successful development and management of digital, mobile, social media strategies and implementation for Fortune 100 clients. Some of our greatest achievements involve hosting the first ever eSports brand summit and taking advantage of the power of podcasting by focusing on the passions the brand shares with its consumers. In addition, we’re engineering products for the world’s largest and most widely-recognized software giant.

    I have been working at GMR Marketing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    GMR Marketing has been great so far. They have great management and truly want you to succeed. GMR pushes me to become better in my career while also making sure everyone enjoys what they're doing. It's definitely a work hard, play hard office. Everyone is so friendly and there's always a fun activity to take part in.

    Application

    I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at GMR Marketing (Milwaukee, WI) in January 2018.

    Interview

    Two phoners (one with HR and one with hiring manager). Spent ALL DAY there, talking to 7 or 8 people. Sent "thank you" notes to everyone. Followed up a few times; a couple responses initially by HR, and then... crickets. More than TWO MONTHS later and I still haven't heard anything; most recently emails to HR and the hiring manager were ignored. Plus the job was relisted already once on LinkedIn AFTER my interview, so clearly I didn't get it -- so just say so! Of course, I wouldn't take it under any circumstances now. Beyond rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate and unprofessional. Miserable experience.
