I have been working at GN ReSound part-time (More than a year)
Flexible schedule, great people to work with, upper management is understanding of family issues
They do a lot of contract employees so not as much job security for some people
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at GN ReSound (Glenview, IL) in October 2017.
I applied online. The process took for one and a half week. The next day team-lead contacted me and we discussed my background and few behavior questions. After that, I got an email from HR and we arranged the on-site interview. On the appointed day, I met with HR and she walked me to the meeting room and bring some coffee and water. Then were following steps:
1. Interview with 2 team members. We discussed my previous experience. They also asked some behavior questions like 'what previous colleagues can talk about you?'. During my interview with them, I felt comfortable myself.
2. The next stage was meeting with an architect. We also discussed my background. I asked some questions. The interview passed well.
3. The next stage should have been with Verification manager, but she late, she was at a meeting. Instead of Verification came HR. She was very polite and very professional. She answered all my questions. I think, she is the best HR, who am I worked with. We also discussed my background and behavior questions.
4. Finally, came the Verification manager. She always interrupted me. During my speech, she always shut me down and I couldn't finish my thought. I saw, that she is not interested in my candidacy. I do not envy that who work with her. To be honest, I'm happy, that I don't have to work with her.
As a result, they decided to go with another candidate, although my abilities and their responsibilities are matched well.
I'd like to express my special thanks to HR.
