Short deadlines, difficult budgets to manage due to travel expenses. Lack of clear employee growth paths and mentoring. BD was only seen as something to be handled by select few and little BD training was offered.
Advice to Management
Invest in more BD training and employee growth pathways.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at GaiaTech in May 2010.
Company conducts interviews a through a variety of means including electronically, via telephone, and face to face. Interview is generally informal and is conversational based. My perception is that the company is very "results" oriented and more focused on numbers and not professional attitude/growth. Successful employees will be those who can generate business. Otherwise you will be another nameless face doing the grunt work until you find something better.
