I have been working at GalaxE.Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Work for a progressive firm with cutting edge technology and ability to use your discretion as an engineer. Lot's of smart people and great ideas.
-Great engineering leadership. Their style is of a servant leader, flat organization with clear growth opportunities
-Detroit is very entrepreneurial and growing fast. I'm glad they emphasize quality as they scale out.
-TL;DR: If you want to grow fast as an engineer and be exposed to a LOT of technologies, go for it!

    Cons

-Detroit culture is fundamentally different than the rest of GalaxE, in a good way. The management style and work/life balance is really good.
-Be wary: The non-Engineering staff (many people that wrote recent negative reviews), do not interact with the Engineering staff. This is a good thing because their culture and way of working has not improved like the Engineering division of Detroit. Their leadership needs to work more with the Engineering staff to have a better culture.

    Advice to Management

Continue to allow Detroit to thrive and use their way of working & culture as an example for the larger organization, including non-Engineering staff in Detroit

    I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at GalaxE.Solutions.

    Interview

30 min technical interview. Offer was 55% less than previous 3 years salary history and not even in universe of industry average. Strange that they even took the time to make it.
