I applied online. I interviewed at Galton Voysey (Lai Chi Kok (Hong Kong)) in November 2016.
Once you apply – the first step is getting an interview with the HR team, and if you pass that round you are given an assessment test and lastly if you pass the assessment test you will get a chance to get an interview with the CEO & Chairman.
The first interview with the HR personnel was very relaxed – the HR personnel really knows how to make you feel relaxed and comfortable during the interview. The interview started off with an introduction of the company instead of directly diving into questions about yourself. This really helped me feel relaxed as I was quite nervous once that part finishes than the HR personnel moved onto questions on my resume. There were no trick questions during this interview it was really to see your personality & cultural fit with the company. This interview was about 45 min - 1 hour.
The same day I received a call for an assessment test and once I submitted it within a few hours I was given a call to schedule an interview with the CEO & Chairman.
The second interview was with the CEO & Chairman – this interview was quite different from other traditional interviews I've had in HK. This interview lasted about 1.5 hours and the core focus wasn't so much my resume but more the initial questionnaire that we had to fill during the application process. At the end of the interview, I was invited back an hour and a half later for an introduction of the company where I received a presentation on all the brands that the company was working on, goals of the company and was subsequently introduced to the team.
