    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gaston County Schools.

    Interview

Applied online and sent the principal an email directly. A week later an office staffer sent a mass blind email asking to email back to select a day/time to interview from a provided list of times for the following week. I emailed back my chosen time and waited a week for the interview. The day of the interview I got to the office about 10 minutes early. While I waited the principal and assistant principal were talking and carrying on with various people that came through the office. Finally, 10 minutes after my interview should have started I was called back. The principal and assistant principal equally conducted the interview. After 10-15 minutes interviewing, I was walking back out to my car. Another week passed and another mass blind email was sent saying a highly qualified teacher had been hired instead.
