I have been working at Gaylord Hotels full-time (More than a year)
Lots of opportunity for additional compensation via contest, upgrades and such. Can move up after 6 months. Most management is good about teaching new things.
Easy to get written up, be veryyyyy careful with your work. After your written up your stuck in your position for 6 months. Turn over is crazy, there are always new people.
Advice to Management
They tell us we have the power to solve guest request and conflict but no a lot of training specifically on that. Your left to learn that on your own, management should be open be lead teachings on this.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gaylord Hotels (Grapevine, TX) in January 2017.
We walked briefly through hotel and sat down with department supervisor. I gave my resume and he asked questions about the job details. He sad there were more interviews to go through and the HR would get back with me.
