    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Gaylord Palms Resort (Kissimmee, FL) in October 2016.

    Interview

I applied online, but I also visited HR with a cover letter and resume. It took a few weeks but I finally received a call to come to an invite-only job fair. (they also ask questions during the call) If you do well with this interview, you'll be hired on the spot. Once you're registered, you are assigned a table number. When they're ready, you'll go into a room and find your table number. It's a group interview, I was with five other people. They ask situational questions and are looking for answers in the STAR format. You'll have lots of opportunities to ask questions. After the interview is over, the people interviewing you leave and then call in the candidates one by one to let them know if they're hired or not. If you are hired, you'll do the paperwork and drug test right then and there. They'll sign you up for orientation, give you an employee handbook, and then you're on your way.
