I have been working at Gemcom Software full-time (More than 3 years)
Mostly good direction, depending on the team you're in., its the same with having customers, and how they are treated
Some teams just push out features without considering code quality. A lot of features delivered, but with complicated code
Advice to Management
Simplify. Concentrate on one thing at a time, allow your teams to deliver quality, which will be slower but more valuable to customers
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Gemcom Software (Vancouver, BC (Canada)) in June 2012.
Fairly standard interview process with phone interview and in person interview with manager. Manager was very professional and straightforward. Communication with HR representative was very slow. I was contacted by HR with some very weird questions. I decided that this was not a company worth pursuing as I had other options
