I have been working at Gemini Duplication full-time (Less than a year)
Ever since we got a new HR manager, a lot of the drama has gone down and the moral has gone up. The new HR manager takes confidentiality very serious and is very good at not playing favorites even if she knows about drama going on between employees, this change should have happened sooner.
You get PTO but if you are smart you never need to touch it since you are able to do makeup most, if not all, of the missed time. The starting paying is a good starter job amount but there is potential to make more. They are super lenient when it comes to emergencies and encourage people to take vacations and time off. Everyone for the most part are very nice and helpful, some fake and some genuine. They preach culture and for the most part they follow it. It definitely makes it a more comfortable place to work.
There is a dog that is great for moral and a nice distraction (even if it's breath smells). There is also a parking lot turkey that hangs around that provides some entertainment.
Every few months, Sales comes up for in-office meetings. When they do come up, either the director of sales or the CEO host dinners at their house. On each occasion, they open up invitations to Ops and if there are a lot of people interested they do a lottery system. People complain about being left out, but they are given the opportunity.
Hard to get a raise unless you actively try. Raises are not handed out arbitrarily or even on a schedule. Large disconnect between Sales and the Office staff. Many don't know the Field Agents or their jobs either. The amount of culture that gets talked about sometimes feels like it gets shoved down our throat a.k.a you're an outcast if you don't "drink the Kool-aid".
NO VENDING MACHINE
Advice to Management
When Sales comes for their meetings, maybe allow them to spend a day randomly assigned to different co-workers and do a "get to know eachother." GET A VENDING MACHINE, FOOD AND DRINKS.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gemini Duplication (Rocklin, CA).
Once you submit your application you will be sent an E-mail by HR. They will then schedule an over the phone interview with you. If you do well on the phone interview. You will get a second in person interview and be asked to to a typing test. The in person interview is great! HR makes you feel very comfortable!
Tremendous thanks to all the volunteers who helped with planning and supervision during the company picnic to make it a huge success!
