For years now, Glick has partnered with agencies across the country for our annual Day of Caring, an opportunity for team members to be active and to give back in communities where Glick properties are located.

  • It's that time of the year again at Glick! Our United Way Workplace Campaigns are underway, where we support United Way chapters across the country. We couldn't ask for better partners as we work to build community and create opportunity where Glick properties are located. Giving Back

As one of the nation’s largest family-owned real estate ownership, development, and management firms, the Gene B. Glick Company is committed to giving back to the communities that we call home. Our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts strive to build vibrant places to live, work and play, and our employees help us achieve our goals. These efforts include:

  • Glick Gives: matches qualified charitable contributions from Glick employees to not-for-profit organizations. Contributions are matched dollar-for-dollar by the Glick Family Foundation. The Glick Gives program allows Glick employees to support the causes they care about in the communities where they live and work. To date, the Glick Gives program has matched nearly $150,000 in employee contributions to charitable causes.
  • Glick Cares: invites our employees to give their time, energy and talents to serving their communities by offering volunteer events, paid volunteer time off, and family volunteer opportunities. The Glick Company provides employees and their families with quarterly volunteer opportunities with Central Indiana organizations. New for 2018, all benefit eligible employees receive eight hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to use at organizations they are passionate about. And, the company provides two volunteer days with United Way of Central Indiana for Day of Caring. To date, our employees have volunteered more than 6,000 hours of time to organizations and causes making a difference in their communities.

    Pros

    I love working for the Gene B. Glick Company because they truly care about the employees, and the people we serve. There is an environment that allows open, collaborative communication. Everyone is encouraged to create and participate in a positive way. It's not just about doing things "right", but also in doing the "right" things.

    Cons

    The expectations are high, but there are a lot of support and training opportunities available.

    Advice to Management

    We are truly lucky to have fabulous leaders in this company, but because we have properties spread out in multiple states, clear communication can be a challenge. We need to continue to keep this as a focus.
