I have been working at General Cigar full-time (More than 5 years)
Family Atmosphere with a warm environment.
Very little effort from management to recognize lower level employee achievements.
Advice to Management
Offer more to your lower level employees. Then everyone wins in the long run.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Cigar.
Went through a recruiter. In persona interview with several company personal during a couple hours. They asked standard questions. Spent time talking about the position and company. Everyone I talked to seemed very friendly. The position itself seemed to fit the description they gave.
A couple days later the recruiter sent me an offer they made. Unfortunately, I had to decline for personal reasons and nothing to do with the company itself.
Reasons for Declining
They gave a solid offer but personal reasons prevented me from accepting.
