Mission: Accelerate Innovation with Talent
I have been working at Genesis10 full-time (More than 3 years)
The largest asset of any company are their employees. Genesis10 supports, respects and cares for their employees. Great place to work.
Need larger choice of benefits and the cost.
Advice to Management
Continue to listen to your employees. Act on their ideas when it benefits both the employees and the company.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Genesis10 (New York, NY).
I was contacted by Genesis10 as a candidate for a potential role. The recruiter was very friendly, and we discussed my background, skills, etc. Recruiter submitted me for the role and I had a few rounds with the company. After that, the recruiter completely disappeared, would not return any calls/emails and failed to provide me with any feedback. I think Genesis10 needs to really rethink their candidate experience. Every reputable agency I've ever worked with throughout my career was professional, would follow up, and at the very least provide feedback or just a simple "hey, company is going with another candidate." It certainly seemed like they just want resumes/candidates to show a pipeline, with no follow through. I hope Genesis10 is thinking long term about the fact that once a candidate is with a company, you'll want their business as an agency for them, and this certainly will NOT allow for that.
For 25 years, Genesis10 CEO Harley Lippman has held signs thanking veterans at his local 4th of July parade. Here is a photo from this year that captured he and a Vietnam veteran sharing a hug.
