I have been working at Genomics Medicine Ireland full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits and pay are good. If you want a good work-life balance you can have it. Has shown flexibility in adapting to covid

    Cons

Most of the reviews on this page were written when GMI was an enthusiastic young Irish startup. Now it's part of a large, USA-centered company. The culture is less positive, lack of direction and lack of transparency. If you're a scientist, don't expect that you'll be able to get publications out in your work here.

There's a weird blindness to the quality of your work in some departments - it looks like you can be awful at your job and get promoted or hardworking and proactive and go a year without a word of thanks
