I have been working at Geographic Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

These are exciting times at GTG! The principals and long-tenured staff have developed a business model and approach to GIS consulting that have earned GTG a tremendous reputation across the industry. The company is posturing for accelerated growth by hiring exceptionally well-qualified people to replicate past success and pursue new opportunities.

    Cons

GTG has the spirit and culture of an entrepreneurial start-up. Most people wear multiple hats and have several projects they're working on at any given time...meaning there's no place to hide for someone who underperforms. Feedback is candid and direct. The environment will stress you out if you're not wired for it.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Geographic Technologies (Raleigh, NC) in August 2016.

    Interview

Very laid back with questions about my past work experience. I had time to ask them questions as well. It was a professional yet relaxing experience. It took no more than 15 minutes, and I received a call the next week. The Office Manager and Marketing manager were very professional and the interview was a very positive experience.

    Negotiation

Very easy. I negotiated my pay rather quickly. No issues.
