I have been working at George Mason University part-time (More than 3 years)
Very flexible work schedule, very low stress work environment. Kind and respectful full time techs/management.
Some of the shifts can be little too late, and there is a high turnover so you don't really get to know some of the other assistant technicians. The pay could be higher too.
Advice to Management
The management is great, I think they do what they need to do to effectively run the department. My only advice is that some of the newer employees could be more rigorously trained.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at George Mason University.
Questions were simple and mostly centered around long term goals. Professors are looking more to mentor and teach you, and will appreciate it if you have the desire to learn.
