I worked at Georgia Health Sciences University full-time (Less than a year)

Wonderful people and great hospital! Only worked from 8-5 so the hours were ideal.

The pay was not comparable to other hospitals for this position.

    Declined Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Georgia Health Sciences University (Augusta, GA) in June 2011.

I applied for the job in January and received a request for a an interview in early April. I had a 1 on 1 interview in April with the head of the lab and was basically offered the position at that time, but he had to formally submit the request to HR. I didn't hear from HR until June, but at least the head of the lab kept me updated weekly with the progress.

    Reasons for Declining

My experience with the HR department was extremely frustrating and I was give an extremely low offer (even for academic research).
