I worked at Gerber Technology part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Gerber working environment was laid back and friendly. The workflow was really good and I like the fact that the processes were very well organized especially the shared online knowledge base.

    Cons

They ended up outsourcing their help desk to India which caused a few people to lose their jobs.

    Advice to Management

The people is part of what brings value to the company. So, when you have really good staff that bring really good value, you keep them around.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Gerber Technology.

    Interview

In the course of job hunting for a month, and talking to dozen of people, this was the the worst conversation I have had so far. Talent Acquisition person was rude and condescending, which is a red flag if you are trying to get a sense for company's culture. If they show your so much disregard at that first interaction, why would anyone want to continue with the process?
