We started our adventure as a group of family and friends that gathered to create, develop

    I worked at GetResponse full-time


    - A good place to start your career in IT : a basic structure of a product team is there and one can learn a few things about how scrum is run,
    - Good location: middle of Tri-city, close to train and bus stations,
    - Cool initiatives like helping poor families before Christmas or anti-cancer campaigns,
    - Pretty nice office space.


    - Virtually no career opportunities,
    - Not competitive salaries for specialists,
    - One needs to fight and beg for a raise,
    - Marketing meetings turn into a beauty pageant where everyone tries to impress the boss...
    - ...which escalates at annual company parties in lush hotels, where everyone gathers for a back-patting fiesta,
    - free sandwitches and cakes in the kitchen advertised as something special and unique (news-flash: it's not. All IT companies have that and more).

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your seasoned employees. Don't pretend you're an American company if you can't pay American company's wages. Stop trying too hard to be cool. Live by your values.
