Each year the intern positions we hire for vary based on Corporate, Retail Operations (Market District/Giant Eagle), Retail Operations (GetGo), and Retail Support Center (warehouse) needs.
I have been working at Giant Eagle full-time (More than 10 years)
I have worked for Giant Eagle for over 15 yrs and was able to advance my career from a PT entry level position to corporate management. The company leaders really care about the team members as reflected by the many offerings that the company has in keeping it's employees engaged and healthy; bonus incentives, Live Well challenges, Team member point of view surveys and the Team Member Care Fund, just to name a few. I am so proud to be a part of the Giant Eagle team.

Advice to Management
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Giant Eagle (Hilliard, OH) in August 2017.
If you apply online, you'll receive a call within a day or two to schedule a 1 on 1 interview. The whole interview is very relaxed and not much worry is involved with the process. Several questions involving the infamous "what would you do?" will be asked which you will have to answer on-the-fly. The questions aren't hard to answer at all, unless you're struggling with interpersonal skills.
