I administered CPR and I was able to bring a female customer back to life. I feel like I could have never done that without the training that I received through GetGo.” – Heather, GetGo Store Leader

A Message From Laura Karet, President & Chief Executive Officer:

“At Giant Eagle, we improve people’s everyday lives and well-being. We are committed to doing so by serving one another, our customers and our communities while building an inclusive and diverse company. Giant Eagle’s culture encourages everyone to feel confident about speaking up. We want to hear whaour Team Members have to say, and we value what they share. Not only is this the right thing to do, it’s the best possible business decision. Team Members are more engaged and innovative when their individual perspectives are valued and they are empowered to be themselves. The talent market and our business are becoming more and more competitive, and our customers are increasingly diverse, which is why we need various internal perspectives to fully understand them and meet their needs. The more we can all identify with and relate to one another, our customers and communities, the stronger our company will become. That’s why our more than 33,000 Team Members come to work each day in our stores, retail support centers and offices, and that’s also what makes our Giant Eagle family so unique.”

I have been working at Giant Eagle full-time (More than 10 years)

I have worked for Giant Eagle for over 15 yrs and was able to advance my career from a PT entry level position to corporate management. The company leaders really care about the team members as reflected by the many offerings that the company has in keeping it's employees engaged and healthy; bonus incentives, Live Well challenges, Team member point of view surveys and the Team Member Care Fund, just to name a few. I am so proud to be a part of the Giant Eagle team.

I can't think of any cons!

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Giant Eagle (Hilliard, OH) in August 2017.

If you apply online, you'll receive a call within a day or two to schedule a 1 on 1 interview. The whole interview is very relaxed and not much worry is involved with the process. Several questions involving the infamous "what would you do?" will be asked which you will have to answer on-the-fly. The questions aren't hard to answer at all, unless you're struggling with interpersonal skills.
