I have been working at Gifted Healthcare full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Small company feel with the resources of a larger organization. The management team actually cares about employees and they provide coaching and support so that recruiters are better able to do their jobs. I love working in the Plano TX office location. It's a small office environment but we have a lot of fun.

    Cons

The software that we use has some limitations so we have to use workarounds that make processes complicated. The recruiting position takes a long time to ramp up if you are not familiar with the healthcare industry - it requires a lot of cold calling and patience to build your book of business. The work/life balance is typical for recruiting, you don't have to be available after hours but it will increase your recruiting book of business.

    Advice to Management

It would be great to have more flexibility and ability to work remotely from different locations. The ability to travel to different locations and still work without missing a beat would be very helpful in this position. It would also allow us to attract seasoned recruiters who want to travel while still working so they don't lose momentum.
