Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

    I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GigSmart (United States) in Mar 2021

    Interview

    Interviewed with a recruiter first, then with the president of the company, then with their CFO. Interviews kept getting moved around, more than once they were late, and then they ghosted after the last interviewer told me he wanted to hire me and that I should wait to move forward with anyone else until I heard from him. That was a month ago and I still haven’t heard anything.

    Standard questions, nothing really surprising. Same questions in all three interviews, they clearly didn’t talk to each other about my responses
