I have been working at Gimmal full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Solid benefits and pay
    - Collaborative culture
    - Forward-thinking, knowledgeable leadership
    - Open PTO policy means a great deal of freedom and a good work/life balance provided you deliver the (reasonable and well-modeled) results expected of you

    Cons

You need to be self-motivated and willing to ask questions and voice concerns. Gimmal expects a lot of staff at all levels, so if you are not comfortable with a degree of autonomy and the culpability that comes with it, you will not thrive. Confidence and continuous learning are key.

    Advice to Management

The transformation from a services/consulting org to a software-led business has meant a lot of change, but in my opinion it has all been for the better of the organization, it's culture, and the staff.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gimmal (Houston, TX) in October 2014.

    Interview

Had a round table setup where all candidates are sitting. A brief intro to the company is given. Then, a 3 round interview that cover different areas of their objectives such as technical, behavior etc. Each of them had question they would ask from their categories. At the end there is a small aptitude test
