Our Story

At some organizations, engagement seems to happen naturally. People feel it. They’re committed, energetic, attached. Positive attitudes and behaviors are transmitted to each new hire. A virtuous cycle.

At other organizations, engagement is uneven and difficult to sustain. People feel this too. Some do only what’s necessary to get by. Why go the extra mile when others are coasting? Energy ebbs. People leave. Momentum never takes hold.

We created Glint to help organizations measure and improve employee engagement. We want to provide the same type of real-time, data-driven platform that can be found in almost any other business function (sales, marketing, manufacturing, service) for the most important part of any organization - its people.

    I have been working at Glint full-time (More than 3 years)


    * Outstanding executive team. Starting from Jim, this team does everything at an incredibly high level. When I tell others outside of the company what Glint's executive team is like, they're actually in disbelief and don't believe its possible for an executive team to be so open and to try and do so much for their employees.

    * Clear direction and purpose. Glint is clearly dominating in it's space with a premier solution. Being here for close to 3 years, I've only seen Glint gain more and more momentum in the Employee Engagement space. I think our growth speaks volumes to our purpose to make people happier and more successful at work. The results speak for themselves and the sky is the limit.

    * Strong manager leadership & talent. Throughout my tenure I've worked with almost all managers at Glint from Customer Success/Engineering/Data Science/Sales/OD, and I've never had a bad experience. All of them make it easy to work with them. Glint is extremely picky in terms of talent. Everyone I've worked with is giving or expecting a certain level of quality. Its a very positive and energetic place to work.

    * Emphasis on culture and improvement. Although the work/life balance can be hard sometimes with the extreme growth, Glint doesn't ever stop trying to improve the culture. Glint uses its own product monthly to get feedback and learn how to improve. Its been like this since the beginning.


    Don't have any cons (after close to 3 years!) nothing to complain about.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Glint (Lincoln, NE) in October 2016.


    I really enjoyed my interview process with Glint. I had three stages: phone, in-person, and one last video interview before I received an offer. With each step of the way, I was getting more and more excited about working with Glint. It didn't really even feel like an interview, but more of just a natural conversation. I was able to ask a lot of questions about the work I'd be doing and the kind of managers I would be working under. Anyone who is passionate about sales would thrive in this interview process.
