Interview
One hours after I sent my CV I was called by a recruiter wanting to schedule a call with the Head of HR right away. The interview was scheduled for the day after and it went quite well until we ended up talking where I am based. The position was supposed to be remote and that´s the reason why I applied. Despite the position being advertised as remote, I have been asked whether I could spend a couple of weeks at the headquarters of the country where I´m living, since "it´s always nice to work directly with people, and the team is mid-aged so they are not quite comfortable with remote work". At this point I said that spending some days there would be fine, but I am not willing to relocate or working regularly there as it is quite far from my city . From there the interviewer started to quickly wrap up the conversation and concluded saying that she would be in touch asap. I haven´t heard anything back after 2 weeks even if I asked for a status update. I found the conversation quite improvised from her side and I don´t think it is professional to make applicants feel guilty because they don´t want to relocate (when applying for a remote position!)Are you willing to spend some time at the headquarters to work from there
